Chapter 1 - Using JBindery


System Requirements

JBindery uses the Mac OS Runtime for Java (MRJ) environment to execute Java applications. To use JBindery, your system must have MRJ 1.0.1 or later installed. You can download the most recent version of MRJ from the Apple Java Web page:

http://applejava.apple.com/

To use MRJ 1.0.1, your computer must have a 68030, 68040, or PowerPC microprocessor with at least 8 MB of RAM (16 MB is highly recommended) and 7 MB of free disk space. System 7.5 or later is required. Computers running 68030 or 68040 microprocessors must have 32-bit addressing turned on (as specified in the Memory control panel).
